bombings far earlier than October 2002. It took that particular bombing to hit the international news.
There were none of these concerns about travelling to Bali prior to 2002. I'm just so sad that it took the deaths of foreigners for the authorities to wake up and start to take precautions.
That being said, I would take my family back over for a holiday at the drop of a hat. Only finances stop me!
