The colours given here are old, and do not reflect the current standards.
If the fitting has a metal stand etc it will have provision for earthing.
If no metal it will be just active and neutral wires.
If someone gets hurt, or the house burns down, there would be some very embarrasing questions asked, and probably no subsequent cover.
Get an indentured person to look at replacing the plug, or use an adapter.
The voltage should not be an issue unless the fittings are flouro.
