Due to the recent bombings in Jakarta, Garuda Indonesia will apply the following policy for Australian originating passengers to Jakarta, for all tickets issued prior to 18 July 2009.
DEFERMENT OF TRAVEL TO JAKARTA
For ticketed passengers departing to Jakarta up to and including 24 July 2009, bookings may be deferred and rebooked without reissue fees (reference: GA086/17JUL09).
New travel dates must be booked and tickets reissued no later than 23 July 2009.
New travel dates must be for departures prior to 01 September 2009.
Flights must be booked in the same booking class and with the same seasonality.
Any difference in fare, seasonality, taxes and surcharges will be applicable.
REROUTING
Where an alternate route is available via Denpasar, ticketed passengers may transfer to the alternate flights without reissue fees (reference: GA086/17JUL09).

CANCELLATION OF TRAVEL TO JAKARTA
Passengers who choose to cancel reservations for travel commencing prior to 24 July 2009, may do so without cancellation fees.
Tickets should be returned for refund no later than 10 August 2009 (ref: GA086/17JUL09).
All other ticket rules/conditions remain unchanged.
Reissued tickets/refunds not showing the required reference will incur the applicable fee.
All the above changes to travel arrangements must be finalized by 23 July 2009.
