When we booked at Tegal Sari we used to pay 100% upfront.
They then changed their policy and required credit card details and now its changing again.
Whatever their policy it remains very popular and is hard to book even months in advance.
They used have a very fair cancellation policy, so, so long as you cancelled within a few weeks you got 100% back. Ask TS what is their current cancellation policy.
Like almost everything at TS, they fulfil ever of the tourists needs and requirements.
If you want to stay there and I find ever good reason to, they are their rules, like it, accept it or stay elsewhere.
