My then husband a long time Aussie surfing visitor to Bali always when to the Uluwatu temple with one of the locals to give an offering before he had his first surf of the holiday. While he was doing the offering I respectfully and quitely stood by, at the time I had my almost full water bottle in my hand. Next thing this monkey leaped onto me grabbed the bottle and jumped back up onto the temple wall. He then unscrewed the cap of the bottle glugged most of it down and then with a look of pure contempt threw the bottle back at me. And I was so suprised I didn't move quick enough and he got me. Oh well it was a very hot day so I appreciated the cold show of water I received. This is just one the great fun memories I have of Bali.
