we are going in october, my kids are coming 17 to 21 and the oldest bringing her partner, this is my sixth trip in there 5th, I gave them the choice to defer traveling but they all said no way (i was glad)
this is the my opinion bit, the majority of people if they went on a trip to London would get on a bus or train without a thought (these were bomb) they could go to Ireland and admire the old towns and beautiful scenery ( IRA made a huge mess there for a lot of years)
go to Mexico and enjoy a holiday ( highest car jack/kidnap rate in the world) go to Rio ( highest murder rate per population in the world).
IF it had not been for the good work of the police here we would have had a terrorist bombing at the football grand final in Melbourne and Sydney at there power station (we still go to the football)
The point of what I am trying to say is WHERE IS SAFE?? I am not going to stay home waiting for someone to tell me because then I would probably never go out again, maybe the world and peoples attitudes will change but I no longer believe this will be in my lifetime.
