It seems from reading the forums that the daily rate for a driver ranges from 250,000 to 400,000. We are going for 7 weeks in March and I was thinking of hiring a driver for at least 2 or 3 of those weeks to take us around the island - 2 nights here/2 nights there sort of thing. I was wondering if anyone had ever done similar and hired a driver for a long period over a week or two and if so what sort of rates were paid?
Also, any recommendation for someone who would be good for this sort of thing would be greatly appreciated - i.e a driver who knows the island, in general, well and is a good tour guide.
