No, once you are in the park thats it. You don't pay for each day.
The deal usually includes one trip on the Safari bus and one photo with one of the animals. You are given vouchers for each person to use. It doesnt matter what day you use the vouchers on. Once the vouchers are used you pay for additonal tickets if you wish.
We had a hopper deal included in our package which included the above plus one free ticket to use in the water park and one free ticket to use in the fun park. In the fun park we used our ticket to take a boat ride in the african Queen (a lovely ride around a peaceful river) a bit lame but I suppose it is really for kids...lol or there were other rides you could use the ticket on.
Yes you could probably drop your bags in the lobby earlier before check-in but I'm not sure if they would issue you the vouchers. (you would have to ring and ask)
