That is a definition of a forum. But the way people choose to express their views varies. It is easy to express a discordant opinion without resorting to personal insults. Unfortunately, in this particular thread, several people chose to make judgmental, offensive, personal comments and as far as I am concerned that is not on. Not ever.
Of course this and other forums are about the expression of differing views, based on a common theme. I maintain that those views can and should be expressed without recourse to offensive, personal, judgmental comments.
No doubt Ken will excise this thread on his usual Tuesday arvo editing session. Hopefully he does so well before then.
