i think it would be good to get a sitter ! and perhaps say to the 13 year old its just for the 3 years old, dont stress too much about the earlier post of the theft this is a very isolated case if your valuables are all locked away then should deifinately be no worry for theft. many of the babystitters speak excellent english and are great at doing things with older kids also. please dont leave them alone :( too many things could go wrong and you would never forgive yourselves , i personally dont think you could relax eitehr whilst you where out at dinner !!! you deserve a nice night out with your husband however , and myself having used a nanny in bali many times ( the same one mind you ) feel totally confident with her.
