First thing is.....Dynasty is not Kuta-Legian.
It is Kuta - Tuban.
So when you read stuff on here and try to relate it to where you are, just be aware that you are probably a 10 min taxi from "Legian", (although to be honest the boundaries are a little uncertain)
For a lot of the stuff you are looking at, you are well placed (a short walk along the beach perhaps) to shop at Discovery Plaza.
You will find plenty of information here if you do a search.
You are also just a few minutes walk from Kuta Square, with Matahari and several independant shoe shops around.
Take a taxi to get to Carrefour on Sunset Rd (maybe Rp35.000)
Before buying surf stuff, maybe check out the so called "factory outlets"....there is one of those on Jalan Ngurah Rai Bypass (Maybe Rp40,000)
Stacks of places on Jalan Kartika Plaza for discs and eating, but make your way up to the two Poppies lanes as well to be spoiled for choice.
