Hi everyone! I last headed to Bali in 2006 and this forum was my life in the months leading up and the tips and advice proved invaluable (then as 1st_timer but the name doesn't fit anymore). Last time I went with a friend and we stayed at the Melasti. After much deliberation (that and twice picking a hotel to it booking out whilst I filled in the form...seriously...twice!!) I've decided to drag my Bali Virgin partner along to the Novotel Benoa for 3 nights, then the Santika in Tuban for three days. That and having got such cheap flights I splurged on the most gorgeous hotel I've ever seen pics of which I wont put the name of in case he checks this out and sees!! :) I really liked where we stayed in Legian last time but teh niksoma was booked out bar 2 nights and other than that it got a bit pricey so hopefully the accommodation's ok esp as I never got out to Nusa Dua or any of that area last time which'll be good. Looking forward to lots of shopping for teh little man I'm leaving at home (1 seemed a bit young to bring along, maybe next time) and lots of sun and cocktails time...drool... look forward to hearing all teh JBR's and picking up lots f greta tips from you all and contributing if I can strech my memory back 3 years!! Think we'll skip white water rafting afte rthe last debacle tho!! (lets just say it was massively inflatably challenged!!) So excited!! yay!!
