Just found an old voucher in my old passport for Feb 97 . 1770 rupiah to the aus$ . In 1981 we were getting 750. I know a bloke that was there when the rupiah crashed . They were getting around 2000 one day then 6500 the next . Thing was most places only took US dollars because of this.
