The weather is humid and rainy. The same type of weather as where I come from (Darwin). Kuta beach also has more rubbish, sticks etc due to the winds from Java. The beach gets raked 2 times a day in Dec/Jan by the locals to clean it up. I love Bali at any time & was there in Dec/Jan as well as having just returned from a June/July holiday there. It is lovely there in the dry season- cleaner beaches and cooler weather, no humidity, (like Darwin's dry season). Enjoy Bali whenever you go.
