I bought sachets of formula (Woolies/Coles/Chemist have them)....I think SK2 do them but have previously bought the mini zip lock bags and measured out the scoops so all you have to do is pour into your bottle (bite the corner off the bag and shake in = less mess).
The hosty was nice enough to get us some hot water but be wary because it was 1000 degrees so I just split it between 2 bottles and topped up with bottled water. Don't expect the same service from Qantas as they were shocking!! They were the worst airline we flew with out of our 8 flights to Italy and back in regards to being of assistance with us and child. Everything was a hassle for them though I think I only pressed my bell twice the whole trip, I really do think they need to look at their job descriptions again. The stupid woman tried to put my table down while baby was feeding just so she could put my meal down (and not come back I assume), hello there aint alot of room there darling. My husband took the tray off her as I think I was going to wear it, he was shaking his head and ate his meal one handed while holding onto my tray so I could finish feeding bub and we could swap baby for tray. Those types of non thinking actions just confrimed to me that she mustn't of had any children (or commonsense) or travelled with a child. We had booked a bassinet and it took them nearly an hour to come back and sort it for us and even then the damn thing was broken so we told them to fold it back up as it's not even safe. She (another trolley dolly) did this with a huff under her breath....if I wasnt holding a sleeping bub and didn't have an audience of 150 peeps I would have b*tchslapped her back into her galley and told her what for....sleep deprivation will do that to ya ;) and rude service.
anyway.....
You should be able to buy full cream milk from the airport cafes though I never saw it at Perth Airport (inside through the departure lounge after stamping your passport) but they should be able to sell you some from their 2ltr bottles you would think (well if they knew what was good for them e.g. keeping bubba happy).
I just chucked a tin in our luggage in a plastic bag just incase the lid pops off in transit.
Anyway hopefully your flight goes smoothly and that your bubbas are well hydrated without any hassle.
Cheers
