My understanding from when I was there last September is that the lease is due for renewal in either August or October this year.
Staff were a little concerned about their jobs and rightfully so because if Norm does not renew they will be looking for new jobs.
Nicky already had left and gone to OURS restaurant in Garlic Lane so we can still catch up with her, and I am sure some of the other long time staff as on Lee and Annie will pop up somewhere else.
Sad to say as it has been the meeting and catching up place for a lot of Aussies over the past 25 years thereabouts.
I am back in September (9weeks) so will be interested to see where it all is at.
