I suppose it depends on the owner & how they kit it out.Our standard apartment has 1 stained divan & a crap plastic single seater chair. The fixtures are cheap & nasty. The water out of the hose in bathroom stinks like sewage. The floors appear clean, but if you wet them then wipe with a cloth the cloth is black. The walls are clean, staff are great & food excellent. Bintangs are ice cold. No tea or coffee in room, but does have kettle, toaster, full size fridge. I would say 2-3 stars tops. Definatly not luxurious, but hey thats just this one. Some of the others you can see seem much nicer. No better standard than Green Garden Hotel or Dewi Sri (room is obviously bigger) from my experience. Heaps of taxi's come & go. But for some reason they have started driving down poppies 1 towards the beach. I always thought Poppies 1 was 1 way for cars, to enter from beach end? Makes for some delays if self drive or cabbing it. Sometimes pedestrians can't even get passed. Footy was actually quiet the other nite, but lots of Dockers supporters present.
