We went to the monkey forest quite a few years ago. We paid our entrance fee some of the people bought peanuts & bananas we had put all our sunglasses etc away, taken of any dangling earrings just after we had walked through a monkey came up behind me a ripped my stud earring from my ear. The monkeys were extremely aggressive then there were ladies there that said I will sell you hard boiled egg to get your earring back. A Balinese man had a slingshot and was hitting them which was making them even more aggressive we asked him to stop but kept doing it. Then another monkey came up to one of the others and bit him on his arm we all decided we would not go any further but it was to late another monkey bit straight through one of the girls nails and would not stop bleeding we went straight but to the vehicle and the driver took us to the old BMIC doctors were both of the people had to have the rabies shots. So now I am quite aprehensive about going to these places.
