group of 4 big drinkers - where to stay?

Am off to Bali in Septemebr and my delightful other half doens't want to stay in Kuta this time (I am a hard core Bounty Hotel fan, having stayed there about 8 times and am devestated not to be staying there) Any other hotels anyone knows of out of Kuta that have a great partying/fun atmopshere?
