I had a pair of real rayban sunnies stolen from my room whist staying in Sanur one time. I immediately threatened to call the police as I needed a police report for insurance and was promised that if we did not call the police the other staff would resolve the matter within 24hours. Cutting a very long story short, we got my sunnies back, the cook had them?, and was never punished by the resort owners. Moral of the story, keep all valuables in the safe or safety deposit box, EVERYTHING. Your sunnies or money or whatever may mean a big financial difference to them, so take temptation out of temptations way.
