We have just returned from a 12 day stay at the KTH, i must say we loved the place. It is a great hotel with excellent staff, great food, the pools are lovely. we were there with our 2 little children and we were lucky enough to have one of the rooms facing the kids pool section of the lap pool which was great. we could sit back on the patio and watch the girls in the pool.
But we had trouble with the taxi's. we got one from the taxi rank at the airport but he wouldnt go to the hotel. no matter what we said he had his reasons why he couldnt..probably couldnt be bothered.
He wanted to drop us off at the beach end of poppies 1. we said no way. it would be better to drop us off the bagus pub on Poppies 2.
So thats what he did and we had to drag our suitcases and the 2 kids down the laneway...it wasnt too bad as its not far.
After that we just got taxi's to drop us off at bemo corner and cut through the little lane that comes out opposite the KTH.
Going to the airport we used the hotel transport which was 100,000.
I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Bali now. we loved the hotel
