I got married in Bali in September 2005 (using BWI) - on my return to Australia I went to change my name on my drivers licence and was told that, although our marriage we legal, my name does not automatically get changed (to my married name) like it does if you are married in Australia?! Not sure if this is correct, however, I did look into it and seemed plausable - I changed my name by Deed Poll....
