Suzanne is correct, but I agree if you cannot get around the barriers you are sure to get plenty of help as there are a lot of walkers on the road. You could also have problems getting through the gate to the road from Jayakarta, but there are guards (gate keepers)on the gate and I am sure you will get help from them. It is a problem that Bali is not wheelchair friendly, but I am sure you will be overwhelmed by people wanting to assist you. Hope you have a great holiday, and I admire you for going.
