We went in 2004 with 3 kids, we had a katmandu backpack for our youngest used it heaps then the other two could take turns in stroller if they wanted. My advice definately get one, perhaps try ebay or similar 1st to get cheap price, from memory we paid about $150 but well worth the money. Enjoy your trip with kids great to see bali through their eyes.
