We usually do Thailand at least 3 times a year.
This year we haven't because Bali has been so cheap to fly to from Perth that we have run with it.
Everywhere is getting more expensive not just Thailand.
Thailand is a county and Bali is an island?
Too many people do the Phuket holiday with a 2 night stop in Bangkok and then say they prefer Bali!
Both Phuket and Koh samui in my opinion arnt worth going to anymore.
Also in my opinion a Bali holiday is better than a phuket or Koh samui holiday and would choose Bali over these two destinations any day.
I would however much rather go to Thailand than Bali,thats because I prefer Thailand to Indonesia.
Anybody going to Phuket or Koh Samui for the first time as an alternative to Bali should think twice and plan their Thai trip a bit more as its a big country with many great islands.
Planning the trip would bring back a greater amount of positives than negatives on Thailand.
We have been visiting both Bali and Thailand since the early 80,s.
Thailand is my favorite place in the world.What we have seen of it.
