Hi
We just got back in June after taking our 2 year old and 3 month old to bali for 2 weeks. here are a few tips i would suggest:
1. if baby has a dummy take a dummy clip
2. balibabyhire.com is a good place to hire a steriliser if baby is on bottles and anything else you would need while over there (it is all on the website as to what they will hire to you)
3. buy nappies over there i bought mamy poko brand and they are identical to huggies in oz - i bought mine at carrefour very reasonable price
4. take your own pram (i would suggest a 3 wheeler with pump up tyres - nothing elese will withstand the bali streets)
5. mix lavender oil with baby sorbelene cream (this will keep mozzies away)
6. we stayed at kuts townhouses and they were excellent as the apartment had a microwave and they provide a portacot for a small fee
7. i took a sling as well as some days it is easier to carry baby in a sling and not have to push a pram around
8. all in one suits are easy for baby to wear and not hot - also easy to change babies bottom wherever you are
9. we flew virgin and they were really great very accomodating for parents
10. have fun it is lots of fun holidaying with your baby and the best part is the balinese love them and dont get nervous if they want a cuddle it gives you a break!
best of luck and you will have a ball wish i was there!
