It may be cheaper to fly to Bali region (KL, Singapore too etc), but anywhere else is more expensive! Besides, I looked at prices for my parents to fly to Gold Coast to visit a friend of theirs in a few months and it is going to cost $870 EACH - JUST FOR FLIGHTS!!!!!! Perth is the most isolated city in the world, so it is refreshing to get some bargains thrown our way!!
