The issue of taxis didn't really affect them as we have friends that took them on bikes most of the time or they walked as the weather was lovely and mild. With the restaurant being so reasonably priced they found themselves spending many a lunchtime around the pool without having to venture out looking for a cheaper meal. Will definitely post when we get back in January. We travel a couple of times a year to Bali and have never stayed here so it will be different and as we will range in age from 17 - ??? (don't want to give too much away!!)should have a broader view of the place.
