Bounty Hotel has changed a few times throughout my stays.
In 2001 and 2002, heaps of drinking games, party nights, pool games and some pretty out there staff. People would be having sex in the pool when I got back at 4am eating a Mie Goreng at the Pool Bar.
Theme night's involved sex games and drinking. I remember taking a video of my mate on stage and 2 mins later was almost naked. Crowd was lots of groups of young Aussies, european backpackers.
Few stays 2003-2005 seemed to change a bit. Some of the party staff went, theme night were more family orientated.. dancing, music and more families staying there. We even got told off for being too noisy at 11pm.
Last year they seemed to be going back to advertising their drinking/sex games, and young crowd again. Have a look on the guestbook on their website and have a read.
Location wise is great. Close to the beach. Some good cheap places to eat Rainbow, Warung 96 and mini marts to stock up. A drunken walk from the Paddys and Bounty Ship. Rooms are average, do the job. Just wish they would fix up their bathrooms.
Oh and there is alot more guys that stay there than girls. It's turned into a bit of a sausage fest but that's alot worse in Sep/Oct for end of season footy trips.
