# Enjoyed breakfast on the balcony this morning, watching the little lane come to life, yawning dogs, chatting merchant neighbors, the odd bucket of water thrown along the gang and the many offerings given.
# Witness to a bit of an accident. Two women had their motorcycle's surfboard carrier racks hooked into one another as they went in opposite directions. Both bikes and riders being pulled up quite abruptly sending one to the pavement. No injuries other than a little bruised pride as she landed in an unlady like fashion on the paving.
# Exchange rate has fallen marginally on the streets. 8090 n/c and 8295 w/c down a couple of hundred that was holding pretty firm for the last week.
# Would anybody know what happens in a building signed with International Magicians Society. It is just east of bemo corner. I like the thought of Balinese people meeting at night to partake in a little conjuring attired in oversized wizard's garb, but somehow just can't see it.
# Itchy sandals. Might be time to widen the horizon a little and head into other parts of the island in the next few days, just for a day or two, perhaps to the central area. Off to the bus station and see where one ends up.
# Irish girl moved in across the way. Invited me for a drink on her balcony. Few of them Irish about it seems. One could hardly deny such an invitation of course.
# No Alvin. Haven't lost complete hope but doesn't look that good I feel.
