The new rooms weren't open when we were there in May, but some friends just got back from there last week and said the new rooms were fantastic - very modern and spacious.
They are located on either side of the pool, but not facing the pool. They face the outside perimeter of the hotel, looking onto the gardens. Also pretty sure they are all located on the ground floor.
Have also just been looking on the Dynasty site and noticed that the kids suites are getting updated as well. The room we were in was across the hall from the kids suites and from the little glimpses we got through the doors, they looked pretty tired and run down.
We are planning to go in Oct 2010 and I think with the kids suites gettting revamped we might book one of those rather than the family garden room, as the kids suites have tv/playstations
