He has gone from a small scruffy shop to a glass fronted well stocked one. Will roll and pack for you.

I don't have a problem with them copying actually for 3 reasons. 1) It puts rice on the table. 2) Not pretending they are original. 3) You only have to look at some of the textiles to know that dots have been a part of Indonesian art for a long time too.

Interestingly, in my taxi driving days, I picked up a couple of Aboriginal artists from TAFE and took them home. They were telling me about this dot thing being in common with Indonesia as well as language, especially quite a few names predominately those beginning with "ny". I makes sense if you remember the land bridge theory and the habit of Indonesians from long ago to roam far and wide by boat.
