I cant give exact directions, but if you jump in a taxi, it will only cost Rp. 15,000 to Rp. 20,000. then you will have an idea if you want to go there by yourself sometime.
It is nothing like discovery, It is more like bourke street mall or the mall in the centre of perth,(dont know what it is called. in that all the shops face into an outside mall. There is not a lot there and it seems that it is a bit of a white elephant, The Idea was good, but never really took off so many shops seem closed or empty.
They do have Ace hardware, which is an interesting look, and can find all sorts of stuff there, not just hardware. There is also a surf shop, and a computer parts shop, they sometimes have factory clearance centres there, and a few years ago there was an Apple shop there for IPods etc, but not sure now..
You would have past it and seen it for sure at some stage on your travels.
