Some of the wiring in Bali, both commercial and residential is done in a manner which does not meet normally accepted Australian or other countries standards.
Many fires in Bali are started because of faulty / overloaded wiring.
Often additional air con, and other high consumption appliances are added with no consideration toward the additional demand on the circuits.
Electric frypans are high wattage appliances, and when used along with air con, electric jug, toaster etc, MAY cause problems, and MAY generate excessive heat somewhere in the set up.
Decisions on whether it is wise to load up circuits in any particular place can only be made on a one by one basis.
If the decision is the wrong one, you will have no problem toasting bread on the resultant inferno!!
