than in nature males tend to be larger than females, Alvin is bigger than the others by far , tend to be much more territorial, as Alvin is, oh and I saw him trying to mount another gecko. Now, wether homasexuality is a geckoen trait I'm not sure, but I am going to suggest he may be male. I could try and catch him I suppose and have a closer look, but I would hate to subject him to such an indignity, rumaging around in a gecko cloaca couldn't be comfortable for the recipient.
Researched: Apparently they have a distinct V shaped pre-anal pores in front of their cloaca. We now know how to sex a gecko. I'll see if I can see any on Alvin
