Seems to show on the X Ray. Don't know what is happening now but back then it was off to the little room with one of the customs chaps. He asks how much are they? I tell him $5 each (had 4 x 2 litre casks). He gets out the calculator tells me it is 310% duty, so I owe him $62.
I made sure I only had $20 in my wallet. He says not enough so I scrounge through my pockets, find a $10 note. He still says not enough. I say I've got no more on me, so he reluctantly accepts the $30 and I go on my way.
No idea if it is the same now.
