I was in bali last January and one of the woman who was staying at our hotel(melasti beach resort) gave her daughter money to to across the road to the deli and get her beers, she got them without any hassle and I was shocked and even more shocked that the mother would even get her 10year old to go and buy it for her. Considering she was only about 4foot tall if that I think kids are growing up too fast and in saying that I have 11 year old twin girls and I watch them like a hawke when I am drinking so they dont touch my drink and I make sure I tell the staff that they are only allowed to have soft drink water or milkshake but NO ALCOHOL. Bali can be fun for all ages but not fun trying to deal with young drunk kids.
