Keep an eye out on happy hour etc with virgin blue aswell as friday frenzy with jet star for cheap flights, we have recently got flights from darwin with jet star $90.00 one way then added some cheap flights from Adelaide which worked out well.. Virgin had $490 return including taxes from adelaide approx 2 months ago so keep an eye out as you can get cheap flights to adelaide from melbourne. As for accommodation check out asia rooms website we have booked 2 weeks for $540 for 2 adults and 1 infant very basic resort but we only want cheap!! keep checking flights daily with virgin blue, jet star and do it all yourself much cheaper :-)
