anywhere that you are breathing in anyone else germs you need to protect yourself.
I shudder to think how many float around in an airoplane.
Dont even get me started on hotel airconditioners.
Other than cleaning all the said offenders,I have found that taking
immune defence tablets a week before travel and while i am away and a week on my return has done the trick for me.
Malibali, you are right to avoid those fine sprays.Anything that might cause legionella has to be avoided.
My husband got dengue fever in Bali 5 years ago, spent a week in hospital and was medivacted back home.Spent 11 days in icu.On top of the dengue he had legionella.Where did he get it?Probably the hospital air conditioner.
Not the end of story. He has just had an operation to remove 800ml of blood from sack around his heart.Dr thinks it is result of dengue.
Do we still travel to Bali? Yes we do,although when it happened I said I would never go back.I guess when you think about it,you need to be carefull wherever you are,not just Bali
