We are a family with 2 kids and we stayed in the 2bedroom villa closest to the pool which is actually separate rooms with an interconnecting door so we just kept this door open. Each room had a king size bed and an area within the room that would probably fit a mattress. I suppose it depends on how old your kids are and whether they need to be right next to you.

Our girls spent lots of time in the pool whilst my husband and I lazed around sunbaking and generally relaxing. They have a surfski that my husband borrowed and paddled around mushroom bay. We also walked around and had a swim in the pool that the Bali Hai Tide huts use, (also used by daytrippers to the island.) You could hire scooters or bicycles if you want to explore the island.

I booked our accommodation directly with the hotel by emailing them and negotiating a price. They also to the transfers to the island as they have their own speedboat. This leaves Sanur and took us 25 minutes to get across to nusa lembongan. The big jetcats take around 1.5 hours.

any other questions feel free to ask.
