we stayed at tanis and found the restaurant just down mushroom beach at the top of the cliff (sounds worse than it is ) to be good and about the same price as the mainland , get there early for the best views.
it is to the left of tanis if you are looking in from the ocean and up high, Tanis is very quiet and laid back and friendly, we just hired scooters and rode and explored
