we have only stayed in a villa once and the manager (who was absolutely lovely) would not go away, he stayed while we ate dinner, stood in the kitchen behind us watching TV and in general just hung around way more than we would have liked.
I guess we could of told him we would like to be alone but he was so nice and we didn't want to offend him, so we just resigned ourselves to an experience different to the one we expected.
I'm sure not all villas are like this but it was a relief to get in our bedroom and shut the door!
