Didn't mean to offend anyone, but it really wasn't a nice experience when we went with a group in November. Our 4 yr old even said it was grotty & smelly. I kept thinking how small the 'cages' were, especially for the beautiful big cats who were pacing around on concrete - correct me if i'm wrong but that's not at all natural. But maybe it's changed? Maybe it just wasn't a good day for the zoo. :)
It's just my opinion that'd i'd rather save the money on not going to the zoo & put it towards Safari, even if you have to pay that little extra, simply because Safari is something you don't get to experience at home. But if you've got the money for both then go for it :)
