We are three weeks away, and plan on staying fit and healthy. This is info our insurance company provides:

Basically, you will be covered for the medical expenses if you get swine flu, but not covered if you decide to cancel your booking, if your policy was taken out in the last few weeks.
My nephew was diagnosed with it last week - he did have a high temp for a couple of days, but other than that, he stayed pretty well and fully recovered in a few days. He is 15.
Panadol should help with any high temps. And make sure you drink plenty of water on the plane as dehydration can sometimes raise your temperature, and you dont need that to happen.
