You can try the Kind Villa Bintang. About a 3 star hotel with pretty good facilities and an average price range. Check-out the archives in this forum for an opinion. Located on Jalan Pratama and right on the beach. Hire a scooter and get the local "beach sport guys" (always ready to do a deal) to tow you out to the surf breaks. Forget private villas or suites - far too expensive. Please enjoy.
