No, you should wait until the Air Asia Itinerary message appears in your In Box. This message will have an attached PDF document entitled "Travel Itinerary". The Travel Itinerary will have your Booking Reference Number and a barcode.

I suggest that you print off the Travel Itinerary and keep it with you in a plastic envelope. The Air Asia website is poor software that sometimes refuse to acknowledge an existing booking. Howevever, in my experience the Air Asia ground staff will always accept the hard copy of the Travel Itinerary as evidence of a booking and issue you with a piece of paper like a supermarket docket. This supermarket docket is your boarding pass and has your seat number on it.

As Air Asia uses poor software, I advise you to keep your Travel Itinerary on you in a plastic envelope. Furthermore, do not delete the Air Asia e-mail from your In Box, in case you need to print off the Travel Itinerary again. For additional security, I suggest that you copy the Travel Itinerary PDF file to a USB stick, CD or diskette and take it with you.
