I can be seen at various eating places with a paper serviette scooping up anything that I think will appease, or just please the Anging Besar (Or kuching kecil as the case may be)
They have benefitted to the tune of some pretty handy fillet mignon, "Gordon Blue", bacon etc etc in that way.
Sitting down at their level seems to pacify them too.
I know many people do this, and can be seen, like me wandering down Jalan Benesari with a slowly spreading stain coming through the shorts from a carefully concealed bacon omelette.
Something I find really funny is that when on the beach in the early morning, the dogs are different.
On the beach, a dog will play with you, be dragged along by a stick, or just want to sit close.
Then, as if "clocking on" to a day job, the same dog returns to its patch and is quite prepared to rip a buttock off of you if not presented with a medium rare porterhouse steak on demand!!
They are all characters, and many more trustworthy than half the people you can meet there.
Love the anecdotes.
