We went to bali in March and prebooked our seat allocation on the website upon booking (12 people). Unfortunately, 6 of us were delayed in getting to tulla airport, but we did check in prior to recommended cut off time. We ended up sitting in separate seats, when we questioned them on our prebooked seats, we were told the online seat allocation is only a request and when they have families turning up to check in - they will always get priority on the seating.. Leason well learnt - get to the airport early
