I bought an XL simcard on 19th Hune at Matahari. It was recomendeded that I use XL as they had a deal on, it was supposed to allow me to ring home cheaply. Unfortunately I only tried sms and local calls and it worked fine. When I was in Candidasa I tried to ring OZ and couldn't do it. Just kept getting no. banned. I was receiving calls from OZ. Went to XL district office and they tried a few things and it still wouldn't work. So I just kept using it for local calls and sms. When I arrived in Sanur 2 weeks later I went to Hardy's and the girl there tried and it was the same. I bought a Simpati card and it worked fine, I rang OZ, UK and local without any problems. Seemed cheaper to make calls than last year on Simpati.
