Tegallalang is road side shopping along about 5 km north of Ubud.
We usually drive to the top of the shops around where the glorious rice paddies can be seen, the walk and drive down hill. Keep putting the shopping back in to the vehicle.
You can buy lots of things that you will down south, usually at wholesale prices, greater variety. Flags, pottery, wooden items, bathroom supplies, furniture, bags, soaps/gifts, oh I could go on and on. If you havent been, give it a try.
